Warranty Information

1. Phantom Screens Limited Lifetime Warranty

• Covers defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the screen.
• Labour coverage: 24 months from installation.
• Workmanship coverage: 2 years.
• To be valid, the original installation must be completed by a qualified Phantom Dealer.
• Warranty claims should be made through the original installing dealer.

Exclusions:

• Mesh and mesh components.
• Damage from misuse, improper maintenance, or modifications.
• Screens purchased from unauthorised dealers or outside NZ/Australia.
• Damage caused by pets, excessive force, or running into the screen.

2. Supplier Warranty Overview

We partner with industry-leading suppliers, each with their own warranty policies:

Magicseal Magnetic Screens

• 2-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
• Excludes:
  • Damage from improper removal or installation.
  • Ripping, tearing, or accidental damage (e.g., broken glass).
  • Damage caused by improper storage (screens must be stored flat, away from direct heat or prolonged sunlight exposure).
  • Normal deterioration due to plastic materials.
• Care Instructions:
  • Screens can be lightly vacuumed when flat; avoid pressing the nozzle into the mesh.
  • For cleaning, gently wash screens in lukewarm water with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and reattach after drying.

Brio 612 Retractable Pleated Insect Screen

• 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects excluding chord replacement or tightening.
• Excludes: damage from strong winds, improper use, or environmental exposure.

Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds

• 2-year warranty on Ziptrak® components.
• 10-year warranty on Serge Ferrari Soltis Mesh & Shadeview Mesh.
• 5-year warranty on Somfy Motors; 7-year warranty on Alpha Motors.
• Excludes: misuse, improper installation, water ingress into motors, and rolling up PVC when wet.

Omni Screen Range (Lite, Guide, Channel)

• 2-year warranty on screen components and fabrication.
• 10-year warranty on Serge Ferrari Soltis Mesh & Shadeview Mesh.
• 5-year warranty on Somfy Motors; 7-year warranty on Alpha Motors.
• Excludes: improper use, excessive tensioning, and rolling up wet PVC.

Executive Motorised Screens

• Limited Lifetime Warranty on parts.
• 5-year warranty on electrical motors; 1-year warranty on remotes.
• Excludes: exposure to water, electrical surges, and abnormal conditions.
