For homes with dogs and farm cats coming and going all day, we fit a pet mesh - a vinyl-coated polyester that takes the knocks - and every panel is replaceable, so a screen is serviced rather than thrown away.

Do retractable screens hold up to high fly pressure? +
Yes - that is where they earn their keep. Rural and farm homes get far more flies than town, and a fitted Phifer mesh keeps them out while the doors stay open for airflow. Where sandflies or midges are bad we can fit a tighter midge mesh.
Will the mesh survive dogs and farm cats? +
Yes. We fit a pet mesh - a vinyl-coated polyester that stands up to dogs and farm cats pushing through the doors all day - and the panels are replaceable if one ever does get damaged.
Can you screen big sliders, stackers, and the back door? +
Yes. A single Wall Screen spans up to about 4.5 m with standard insect mesh, and two meeting in the middle reach about 9 m, which covers the wide sliders and stackers common on rural and lifestyle homes. For the door the family actually uses - the boot room or wet room where everyone kicks off their boots coming in off the farm - a MeshLock retractable suits a single swing or slider. Heavier meshes like pet mesh run to smaller spans; we confirm the limit for your mesh with your quote. For openings wider still, the Executive screen spans up to about 12 m.
Do you install on lifestyle blocks and farms? +
Yes. We install nationwide by arrangement, with our own teams based across the upper North Island (Taupo north - Northland, Auckland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty), so the rural areas and lifestyle blocks in and around those regions are well covered.
Can you work around milking? +
Yes. We are used to fitting in around farm routines - milking, calving, or whatever the day needs - and we book the measure-up and install for a time that works around yours.
Can I get a price without you driving out? +
Usually, yes. Send photos and rough opening sizes and we will come back with an indicative price - we only book a measure-up once you're happy with the solution and product, which saves a long drive for both of us.
