“I cannot believe we still get the same view with these screens installed. They blend in seamlessly and work perfectly.”

Big motorised screens usually can't get up the lift. This one can - the Executive splits into two halves and is rejoined on site.
Fitting a motorised screen to an apartment balcony or a penthouse terrace usually trips on one practical detail: a screen spanning several metres is made as a single piece, and a single piece does not fit in a lift or up a stairwell. Craning a blind up the outside of a building is expensive at best and often not possible at all.

A motorised screen drawn down over a terrace’s full-height glass, held taut in captured side channels.
The Executive range has a two-part option - Exec Connect - built for exactly this. The screen ships in two halves, comes up the lift, and is rejoined on site with the system’s joiner bracket. It uses the largest 180 mm housing and spans openings up to about 6.5 m wide, which covers most apartment balconies and terraces. Where access allows a one-piece screen, the standard Executive spans up to 12 m.

Drop the screen over an open glass wall to shade or enclose the space at the push of a button.
Apartments rarely make it easy to run power to a balcony head box. The Executive’s battery motor option removes the question: it charges through a standard USB-C charger, with an extension lead so the charging point sits somewhere convenient, and runs screens up to about 6 m wide. No electrician, no mains run, no wiring consent - and an optional solar panel can keep it topped up instead.

The same screens suit exposed upper-floor openings, where higher positions catch more wind.
Higher floors see more wind. The Executive’s captured-zipper side channels hold the fabric taut in gusts, and wind sensors can retract the screen automatically when it is blowing hard. We confirm the right housing and fabric for the exposure at the measure-up.

Blockout fabric drops over a big opening for full light exclusion behind the glass.
The same system also works indoors. With a blockout fabric, an Executive fitted to the inside of a glass wall or window turns a bright room into a dark one - the setup hotels use where a glass facade needs full light exclusion, and just as useful for a media room or a bedroom behind big glass. It is a special order we spec case by case.
Apartment and penthouse balconies, retirement-village units with lift access, and hospitality rooms behind big glass. The same fabric range as every Executive applies - insect mesh and solar mesh - covered in our mesh options guide.
Send photos of the opening and rough sizes through the enquiry form for an indicative price - and mention the floor and lift access, so we can spec the right system from the start.
