Brio 612 pleated screen
The Brio 612 pleated screen folds together as you slide it back. It uses its own pleated mesh; alternative mesh and pet mesh are not available.

Best fit for hinged doors
Hinged front and back doors are the most common opening we screen. A Phantom captured edge cassette mounts neatly to the frame, the mesh stays retained in its tracks for everyday durability, and the whole screen disappears when you are not using it. Mesh and finish
Choose standard insect mesh for most homes, midge mesh for coastal and estuary properties, and pet mesh for households with dogs and cats. Pet mesh resists light damage and is not a containment barrier. See our mesh options for every weave. Do fly screens on hinged doors actually stop insects? +
Yes. The mesh seals the opening when extended, so flies, mosquitoes, and spiders stay outside while the door stands open for airflow.
Can a screen be fitted to my existing hinged door? +
Almost always. Most installs are retrofitted to existing aluminium joinery with a tidy surface-mounted cassette. Send a photo and rough size and we will confirm fit and an indicative price.
Will the screen block the view or make the doorway darker? +
No. Standard insect mesh is high-visibility, and the screen retracts fully into its slim cassette when you are not using it, leaving the doorway completely clear.
How does the screen handle wind? +
Captured edge screens keep the mesh zipped into the top and bottom tracks, which resists the blow-outs that catch loose-hanging screens in a gust.
What maintenance does a hinged-door screen need? +
A seasonal vacuum of the mesh and a damp-cloth wipe of the tracks keeps it running smoothly. Mesh cartridges are replaceable if one is ever damaged. The full routine is in our care guide.
